Karlsruhe-based medavis GmbH and Digithurst GmbH & Co. KG from Büchenbach, both recognized as leading providers of best-of-breed software solutions for the radiology sector, are joining forces to form a strong group. The goal is to combine the range of radiology software products and services in a dynamic and innovative approach to provide their shared customers with even greater added value.

This innovative and uniquely positioned group, backed by the seasoned investor Bregal Unternehmerkapital (BU), unites a highly experienced team that is firmly established within the industry. medavis has been developing customized, modular, and scalable software for hospital chains, radiology networks, imaging centers, and clinics for over 26 years and offers radiologists, referring physicians, and patients solutions for cross-site networking. Digithurst is a successful provider of RIS and PACS in the German market and also appeals to complementary customer groups.

Going forward, customers of the Group will benefit from a broader product range and even greater innovative strength thanks to the consolidation of the two companies’ long-standing experience. The new synava Group aims to bring innovative and sustainable solutions to the market, shaping the future of networked radiology while also continuously developing the established eRIS and medavis RIS product portfolios. As a result, customers will enjoy the advantages of cutting-edge products and sustainable technologies brought together by two industry leaders.
